  3. It stops me eating…
    Wrong again, it is merely a justification, there is no medical evidence to suggest smoking stops you from eating.
  4. If I stop I’ll put on weight…
    Wrong, the only reason you will put on weight is if you substitute a cigarette for a piece of food. You can make healthy choices instead of diving for the chocolate.
  5. 5 I enjoy a smoke with my mates at the pub…
    Why do you want to give up then? Surely you can be sociable without a cigarette?
